We were very impressed by the personal attention of the owner/manager. On arrival we were shown the various rooms available and given our choice. The attached restaurant was absolutely superb.

Rosemary is a delightful hostess. From sitting and sharing a cup of tea when we arrived to giving advise and presenting breakfast the stay was most enjoyable. Restaurant next door is not as wonderful as it thinks it is. Rather patronising attitude. Food fine but not gourmet.

We were very late arriving but Rosemary made sure we were comfortable and did everything to help us relax. Top breakfast. The room was just beautiful. Would definitely go back.

Very personalised service, especially the phone call to confirm my booking and check in time, plus the excellent breakfast. Heritage theme very nice.
St James Room was alot smaller than the ones displayed on your website. The Fireplace was not working. Rainwater leaking from roof in gazebo (breakfast) area. No information booklet in room for guests. No wifi password provided.

The old time feel of the house. Cosy and comfortable.
I had booked the room with canopy bed but we had another room. Very nice as well but would of liked the one I booked.

This is a great little B&B close to some excellent restaurants and pubs. Rosemary the hostess is an absolute treat. Great breakfast, quiet and very comfortable accommodation. Highly recommended.
